Recently I was honored to be invited to contribute a chapter to Mimi Rossi’s just-published book: “Growing Up for Grown Ups : (extra)Ordinary People Who Had the Courage to Create a Life They Love”.
In her book Rossi profiles everyday people like you and me who took a leap toward creating a life of purpose and meaning. By doing so, they have become inspirational teachers for all of us who wish to step forward.
In my blog Black Belt Dreaming I talk about a blessing written by Rabbi Tarfon – that we all, each of us, have lacks, different from the other, that brings us toward each other in the effort to fill those lacks. As with that blessing, I learned as much from reading these other great teachers as I hope to have contributed.
Thank you, Mimi Rossi and all the Great Dreamers in this encouraging book!
